MCC NEET UG 2025 Stray Vacancy: 1,232 MBBS AIQ seats vacant; choice filling extended till today

Enrol NowThe Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the final seat matrix for the last round of NEET UG counselling 2025, revealing 1,232 MBBS seats still vacant under the All India Quota (AIQ) after several additions and reductions across medical colleges.
Due to the addition of seats, the choice filling and locking for the MCC NEET UG stray vacancy round has been now extended to November 12. Candidates will be allowed to fill their choice of courses and colleges and lock their preferences by 11.55 pm on the last date.
As per the final stray vacancy seat matrix, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh have the highest number of vacant seats.

In this regard, the MCC has also extended the deadline for generating certificates through the PwD portal till 5 pm on November 12. Candidates seeking admission under the PwD quota are required to visit the MCC designated disability centres to generate PwD certificates as per NMC norms.
The NEET UG stray vacancy allotments were scheduled to be declared today; however, they are now expected to be announced on a later date due to the extension. The list of candidates admitted till round 3 is also available on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
Applicants claiming NRI status were also asked to submit relevant documents through e-mail ug.nri.mcc@gmail.com by 2 pm on November 11, as fresh registration and choice filling is mandatory for the last or stray vacancy round of NEET UG counselling.
The NEET UG counselling dates for several states have also been revised following changes in the MCC schedule. The final seat allotment under the state quota will only be declared after the MCC announces the NEET UG AIQ seat allotments.
