MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024 round 2 seat allotment result out; reporting begins tomorrow

NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the seat allotment result for the second round of the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2024 for admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MBBS, BDS programmes. Candidates who participated in round 2 counselling can check the result PDF on the official website – mcc.nic.in. The NEET UG round 2 choice filling and locking facility ended on September 16.

The MCC extended the registration date for round 2 due to addition of 225 MBBS seats for NEET UG round 2 counselling. NEET UG round 2 seat allotment result will have details of NEET rank, allotted quota, allotted institute, course, allotted category, candidate category, and remarks for candidates.

As per the revised NEET UG counselling date 2024, participants who have been allotted seats will be able to report to the allotted colleges from September 20 and 27.

“It is for the information of all candidates that the provisional result for Round 2 of NEET UG 2024 counselling is now available. Any discrepancy in the result may immediately be informed to MCC of DGHS up to 11 am of September 20 through email on the email id: mccresultquery@gmail.com,” said the committee in an official notice.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in round 2 can opt for willingness to upgrade for which they will have to physically report at the allotted college. If a candidate gets upgraded in round 2, he or she must take relieving from round 1 seat and join round 2 seat. Moreover, the candidates who have been allotted seats in round 2 but do not join will get their security deposit forfeited.

How to check NEET UG seat allotment 2024?

Here are steps to download the NEET UG round 2 seat allotment order:

• Visit the MCC official website, mcc.nic.in and go to UG tab
• Click on the ‘NEET UG round 2 seat allotment result’ link
• Login with application number and date of birth.
• NEET UG round 2 allotment will be displayed.
• Check the allocation and download the order for future reference.
