Try NowThe Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued the NEET UG counselling 2026 merit list for candidates belonging to Puducherry domicile. A total of 5,402 candidates are eligible for Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JPIMER) Puducherry and Karaikal internal quota.
Earlier, the merit list had 5402 candidates; with the addition of two more missing names, the total has increased to 5404. The revised merit list also includes a correction to the caste details of one candidate.
Candidates can download the MCC NEET UG counselling 2026 merit list for Puducherry domicile from mcc.nic.in. The last date for MCC NEET UG counselling 2026 round 1 registration is August 12, and the deadline for round 1 choice filling facility is August 13.
NEET UG Counselling 2026: MCC warns of seat cancellation
Candidates must verify whether their names are in the official domicile list released by the Puducherry authorities before exercising their choices during the MCC NEET UG counselling process 2026.
Those claiming Puducherry domicile and getting a seat allotted under the JIPMER (Puducherry and Karaikal) internal quota have to produce valid documentary proof of their domicile status when physically reporting to the institute.
The committee further stated that if a candidate fails to submit the required domicile documents during admission, the JIPMER (Puducherry and Karaikal) internal quota seat allotment will be cancelled.
Candidates should also regularly visit the official MCC website for important information on counselling schedules, seat allotment, and the admission process.
