MCC withdraws 10 seats from NEET PG round 3 counselling 2024

Download nowNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the withdrawal of 10 seats from the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) round 3 counseling 2024. The committee has received information from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) for the withdrawal of seats from round 3 seat matrix of NEET PG Counselling 2024.
PGIMS Navi Mumbai has reduced 10 seats in four specialties in open position, backward class, scheduled caste, and scheduled tribe categories.
On January 17, the MCC removed 23 seats from the NEET PG counselling 2024 round 3 seat matrix and 12 new seats were added to the NEET PG round 3 counselling .
These 10 seats for withdrawal from PGIMS will be removed from the seat matrix before the allotment process of Round 3 of PG Counselling 2024, the MCC notice says.
According to the issued circular, branches such as MD (Obstetrics and Gynecology), MS (Obstetrics and Gynecology) (OBGY) specialty, and MD (General Medicine) have lost the majority of seats by 6.
On the other hand, only three seats were withdrawn from MD (Paediatrics CS) and MS (Orthopaedics) departments.
