The Meghalaya Board expelled the candidate Bantisful Iawphniaw for using unfair means in the exam. "The candidate is debarred from appearing in the SSLC Examination for 1(one) year i.e. the SSLC Examination, 2024," the result notice said. 

East Khasi Hills district recorded the highest pass percentage of 73.87% in Meghalaya Board Class 10 exams 2023.

Eastern West Khasi Hills recorded the highest pass percentage of 91.64% in MBOSE Class 12 arts exams 2023. 

The overall pass percentage of Class 10, 12 students has dropped as compared to last year. MBOSE SSLC pass percentage is 51.93% and HSSLC arts pass percentage is 80.30% this year.

Larisa Lamin secured the first rank in MBOSE Class 12 arts exams 2023 followed by Avelyne Francisca Khriam and Deinamesha Hynniewta at second and third positions. 

Samridhya Das topped MBOSE SSLC exams 2023 with 572 marks. Jyotipriya Bhattacharjee secured the second rank whereas Tanushri Acharjee got the third rank. 

The overall pass percentage of Meghalaya Board Class 12 students is 80.30% which dropped as compared to last year. 

The overall pass percentage of MBOSE Class 10 students is 51.93% which dropped as compared to last year.

After declaration of MBOSE SSLC result 2023, those students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for revaluation by filling an application form and paying the fee. 

The overall pass percentage in MBOSE HSSLC exams 2023 was 86.89% last year.

As per an official Meghalaya Board notice, the MBOSE SSLC and HSSLC arts 2023 result will be declared on May 26, 2023 during office hours. The board has informed that the MBOSE result booklet 2023 will be available for download on the MBOSE official website- mbose.in. "There will be no display of results in MBOSE Office, Tura/Shillong," read the notice.
