MET 2026 registration deadline extended to March 23 for BTech, MTech; apply at apply.manipal.edu

The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has extended the last date for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET 2026) registration to March 23. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out the MET 2026 application form on the official website, manipal.edu/met.

MAHE will conduct the MET 2026 phase 1 exam on April 13 and 14 in two slots, from 8 am to 9 am and 1 pm to 2 pm. Earlier, the last date to submit the MET 2026 application form was March 15, which has now been extended.

To complete the MET 2026 registration, candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 600 for all courses, along with an MET entrance test fee of Rs 1,400 for selected courses only.

As per the MET 2026 schedule, the online slot booking will be available from March 31 to April 2, 2026. MET 2026 hall tickets will be issued between April 10 and April 13, 2026.

MET 2026 exam pattern

The MET 2026 exam will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode, and the medium of the exam will be English. The test will have a duration of two hours and will include Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.

The MET question paper will have four sections: Physics will include 10 MCQs and 5 NAT questions, Chemistry will have 10 MCQs and 5 NAT questions, Mathematics will include 15 MCQs and 5 NAT questions, and English will have 10 MCQs only. The MET exam will have a total of 60 questions and will carry a maximum of 240 marks.

As per the MET marking scheme, four marks will be given for every correct answer in both MCQs and NAT questions. However, one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in MCQs, while there will be no negative marking for NAT questions.
