Mewar University inks pact with Seekho to train BBA, BCom, MBA students

First batch of 30 students of Mewar University will get training in logistics, supply chain management and manufacturing from August 1.
NEW DELHI: The Mewar University has signed an agreement with Seekho, an edtech firm, for providing training to students in supply chain management, logistics, retail, manufacturing and automotive sectors.
Director of the university’s placement cell Harish Gurnani said the agreement will open new avenues for students pursuing MBA, BBA, and BCom programmes. Seekho will provide training in the fields of supply chain and logistics to students. The first batch of 30 students, pursuing BBA and BCom, will be sent to the company for training on August 1.

Experts from companies such as Gati, Safe Express, Fedex, Agarwal Packers and Movers, and others will train students in logistics, supply chain management, retail, manufacturing, and automotive sectors.
The students will also visit institutions promoted by the ministry of micro small and medium enterprises such as Indo-German Tool Room, Indo-Danish Tool Room, Central Tool Room, Advanced Training Institute and others for practical knowledge enhancement.
In recent years, thousands of students from the university have received specialised training in these institutions and given their careers a new direction. Chairman of Mewar University Ashok Kumar Gadiya said, “The university has established connections with more than 300 companies located in Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and other states of the country. The students visit these companies for internships and a significant number of students get placements in these firms."
The university also informed that it has started the admission process through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for UG and PG programmes. Interested candidates can visit the official website mewaruniversity.org to participate in the CUET counselling process.
