According to the schedule, the MHT CET 2026 exam will be conducted in two attempts. The first attempt will be held from April 11 to 26, and the second attempt will be held from May 10 to 17.
As per the MHT CET 2026 registration statistics , as of February 4, a total of 1,34,896 candidates registered for the MH CET PCB first attempt and 58,764 for the second attempt, while 2,55,822 candidates registered for the MH CET PCM first attempt and 1,78,168 for the second attempt.
MHT CET 2026 registration fees
Recently, the Maharashtra Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) increased the MHT CET 2026 application fee. As per the revised application fee, open category candidates have to pay Rs 1,300, while other candidates have to pay Rs 1,000.
Candidates appearing for MHT CET 2026 will have to provide their Aadhaar number and APAAR ID while registering. Candidates are required to create an APAAR ID to register for MHT CET 2026 .
Candidates have to make sure their Aadhaar details are updated, including their name, date of birth (as per the Class 10 certificate), recent photo, father’s name, address, and an active mobile number linked to Aadhaar.

- Go to the official MH CET website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
- Click on the “New Registration” link.
- Fill in personal, academic, and contact details.
- Choose the MHT CET 2026 examination group (PCM or PCB).
- Upload your photograph and signature in the required format and size.
- Pay the MHT CET application fee online.
- Submit the MHT CET form and take a printout of it for your future reference.
