The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will begin the MHT CET CAP 2026 BPharm registration process today, July 31. In a first, the State Cell has now allowed NIOS students from PCM or PCB streams to apply for the MHT CET BPharm CAP 2026 counselling process.

The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has allowed students who have completed their schooling, preferably from physics, chemistry, maths and biology streams through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and have appeared for the MHT CET 2026 to pursue the Bachelor of Pharmacy course.
Until last year, students who passed Class 12 from the science stream through NIOS did not have the opportunity to take BPharm admission.
For the academic year 2026-27, students willing to enrol in BPharmacy and Pharm D courses must upload their applications along with scanned copies of the required documents during online registration.
Also, a new process for document verification, specifically 'E-Scrutiny' or 'Physical Scrutiny ', has been introduced. Students must select one of these methods when filling out their online applications.

The MHT CET CAP registration fees 2026 for students from the general category from or outside Maharashtra have to pay Rs 1,300, while others have to pay Rs 1,000.
The CET Cell has urged students who appeared for the MHT CET or NEET 2026 entrance exams to register for the CAP.
State Cell conducted the MHT CET 2026 PCM and PCB exams in two phases, in April and May 2026. In the previous academic year 2025-26, a total of 55,779 students registered for admission to the BPharmacy course.
Maharashtra Cell conducts the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for admission to the first year of the four-year full-time BPharmacy degree course and the first year of the six-year full-time PharmD degree course under technical education.
