MHT CET Result 2023 (OUT) Live: Mah CET PCM, PCB results at cetcell.mahacet.org; cut-off, college predictor

Candidates who have appeared for MHT CET 2023 cannot recheck the MHT CET result 2023. The CET cell does not provide any provision for revaluation or rechecking of MHT CET answer sheets. Therefore, candidates should carefully review their results as per the provided scores and ranks, as the scores are final and cannot be modified through revaluation.

Aditya Gyandeep Dev has emerged as the highest scorer in the PCB category in MHT CET 2023. Iyer Seshadri Ramakrishnan, secured the second position in the PCB category. Sejal Ramesh Rathi has attained the third spot in the MHT CET 2023 examination.

As per IE, MHT CET 2023 recorded an overall percentage of 92.93% this year. A total of 6,36,089 candidates registered for PCM and PCB groups while 5,91,130 students appeared for the exam, the report said. Take a look at the exam highlights:

As per IE report, Aditya Gyandeep Dev secured the top rank in PCB in MHT CET 2023. Iyer Seshadri Ramkrishnan has grabbed the second position and Sejal Ramesh Rathi has got the third spot. 

Laxminarayan Institute of Technology (LIT) Nagpur which offers admissions to engineering programmes through MHT CET exam will soon become a state university as was announced in the assembly by the state deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis. Formerly a college, LIT had proposed new BTech programmes in artificial intelligence, data science, green energy, and more.

MHT CET 2023: LIT Nagpur to offer 8 new BTech courses

Chaudhari Avinash Janardhan has secured the first rank in MHT CET 2023 exam followed by Anushka Piyush Doshi and Tanish Nilesh Chudiwal on the second and third ranks respectively, as per an Indian Express report. 

As per reports, the CAP registration will commence on June 15 for admissions to the engineering and pharmacy colleges. Candidates who have qualified for the exam are eligible to participate in the counselling process. 

28 students scored 100 percentile in MHT CET 2023 exam, as per an Indian Express report. A total of 3,33,041 candidates registered for the engineering exam. 

In order to pass MHT CET exam, general category candidates need to score 45% marks while reserved category candidates are required to score 40% marks out of the total marks. MHT CET 2023 was held for a total of 200 marks. 

With the help of MHT CET 2023 college predictor, candidates will be able to check their chances of getting admissions into colleges based on their scores. 

Sardar Patel College of Engineering offers BTech programmes in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering through MHT CET exam. 

MHT CET 2023 candidates cannot apply for rechecking of MHT CET results 2023. The CET cell has no provision for revaluation of MHT CET answer sheets. 

Those candidates who have qualified in MHT CET 2023 exam for PCM and PCB groups will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. The CET cell will announce the MHT CET counselling 2023 dates soon for admissions to engineering and pharmacy programmes in state colleges. 

MHT CET cut off 2023 will be determined on the basis of following:

• Total number of seats
• Total number of registered candidates
• Difficulty level of exam.
• Previous year cutoff trends.
• Categories for which admission will be offered

According to the MHT CET marks vs percentile, candidates having 90 marks will be having a percentile less than 95 percentile.

MHT CET result 2023 out for PCM at mhtcet.mahacet.org 2023

MHT CET result 2023 has been declared on the official website -- cetcell.mahacet.org. 

Maharashtra state higher education minister Chandrakant Patil informed that 144 autonomous educational institutions will begin the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) from this year and start courses accordingly.

The percentile score of MHT CET 2023 candidates will be calculated as follows:

100 * Number of candidates appeared in the session with raw score less than or equal to candidate's score/ Total number of candidates in the session 

As the MHT CET exam was conducted in different shifts, candidates got different sets of question paper resulting in the difference of difficulty level of question papers. To overcome the difference, CET cell will use a normalisation method to calculate scores which will be called percentile scores.

"Adopting an unfair means or engaging in malpractice in the examination shall render a candidate liable for punishment under, “Maharashtra Prevention of Malpractices Act, Universities, Board and Other Specified Examination Act, 1982” and disqualify the candidate for MHT-CET-2023 examination," CET Cell said. 

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will declare the MHT CET result 2023 for PCM and PCB groups today on the official website -- cetcel.mahacet.org.

The MHT CET tie-breaking process is as follows:

• Candidates with higher marks or scores in Mathematics at CET will be given preference.
• Candidates with higher marks or scores in Physics at MHT CET will be given preference.
• Candidates with higher marks or scores in Chemistry at CET will be given preference.
• Candidates with a higher percentage of marks in the Board or qualifying examinations for Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry combined will be given preference.
• Candidates with a higher percentage of marks in the subject Mathematics at HSC will be given preference.
• Candidates with a higher percentage of marks in the subject Physics at HSC will be given preference.
