NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Education has announced the Super 25 winners of Veer Gatha Project today, January 6, 2022. The project was organized by the Ministry, Department of School Education and Literacy, and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) from October 21 to November 21, 2021.
Over 8,03,900 students from 4,788 schools in 28 States and Eight Union Territories (UTs) participated in the Project and shared their inspirational stories in terms of essays, poems, drawings and multimedia presentations.

The selected winners will be given a cash prize of Rs 10,000 each and will be felicitated on 25 January 2022 on their arrival in New Delhi and will get to witness the Republic Day Parade as the special guests of the Ministry of Defence.
The Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Education and MyGov congratulated and thanked all the participants for their zeal and enthusiasm towards the Veer Gatha Project.

“Veer Gatha is one such unique project that has been launched to inspire the school children of our country with the stories of war heroes, brave hearts, and it has elicited a tremendous response from all over the country. For the first time as part of Republic Day celebrations, the Ministry of Defence has envisioned that school students may be motivated to do projects, activities based on gallantry award winners,” said an official statement from the Ministry of Education.
