NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Education has issued a notification regarding the reconstitution of Board structure and administrative framework of JEE Apex Board (JAB for Joint Entrance Examination JEE) for admission to UG engineering programmes in ITs, NITS and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs).
As per the notification, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will manage all information related to technology (software) support. For back-end activities like pre and post-examination work, including online submission of application forms, the agency may seek support from C-DAC as and when required.

The competent authority has decided to reconstitute the JEE Apex Board (JAB) in order to ensure the seamless administration of the JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced) Entrance Examinations for the years 2024 and 2025, following the conclusion of the previous JAB's mandate.
