MP Board 2021: Know evaluation criteria for Class 9 and 11

The School Education Department decided to cancel Class 9 and 11 MP Board 2021 annual exams due to COVID-19 situation. Students will be evaluated on the basis of their previous performance.

Download NowNEW DELHI: School Education Department, Madhya Pradesh will be promoting students of Class 9 and 11 on the basis of their performance in revision test and half-yearly examination conducted in November and February respectively. The MP Board cancelled the annual examination of Class 9 and 11 after considering the COVID-19 situation in the state.
The decision to not conduct the MP Board annual examination for Class 9 and 11 was taken by the School Education Department on April 16, 2021
Know Evaluation Criteria
According to the MPBSE, students will be evaluated on the basis of revision test from November 20 to November 28 and the half-yearly examination conducted from February 1 to February 9, 2021. Based on these obtained marks the MP Board 11th exam result will be evaluated.
The final result will be declared on the basis of the best marks obtained in five subjects. Students will be declared pass if they qualify in five subjects out of the total six subjects. If any student fails to obtain 33% marks in more than one subject then a maximum of 10 grace marks will be awarded. These grace marks can be awarded in more than one subject if required.

The MP Board Class 10 and 12 board exams are also postponed and the decision on these exams will be taken later.
