The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) will conduct the MP Board second exams 2026 for Class 10 and 12 from May 7 onwards. MP board second exams 2026 for Class 10 will be conducted from May 7 to 19, and the 12th exam will be held till May 25.
Students who failed in subjects or are willing to improve their scores can appear for the MP second board exams 2026. Both exams will be held from 9 am to 12 pm at the designated exam centres.
Under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 policy, the MPBSE is now organising a 'Second Examination' – replacing the previously held 'supplementary exam' – to allow students to appear for failed subjects or to improve their marks.

As per the official MPBSE notice, students will have to fill out the exam application form at the MP website online by providing details regarding their subjects for the second exams and their roll number, and pay the required fee.
For the MP board second exam 2026, a student must select their failed subjects; however, the selection of subjects in which they have already passed is voluntary.
The marksheet for the second examination will be issued in the same format as that of the first phase board exams. The marksheet issued by the Board shall be universally accepted as valid.
Students must submit the online application form on the MP board’s official website, mpbse.nic.in, within seven days after the results are announced. MPBSE board exam results 2026 for both Classes 10 and 12 were declared on April 15.
As per the MPBSE statistics, in Class 12 exams, girls outperformed boys by marking an overall pass percentage of 79.41%, while for male students it was 72.39%. Khushi Rai and Chandni Vishwakarma grabbed top ranks with 494 marks in the commerce stream.
While for Class 10 exams, 73.42% students qualified for the exam, and Pratibha Singh Solanki from Panna district has secured rank 1 with 499 marks.
