MP NEET PG Counselling 2024: Round 1 NRI quota seat allotment out; registrations reopened

NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh has released the seat allotment result for the Non-Residential Indian (NRI) candidates who participated in the first round of the state National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2024. NRI aspirants who applied for the MD, MS admissions in MP can check the allotment status on the official website, dme.mponline.gov.in.

The seat allotment result has been declared after the High Court of Jabalpur dismissed the petitions against the MP NEET PG counselling for NRI quota alleging violation of reservation policy in private medical colleges. “This is for information to all NRI candidates who participated in the first round of counseiling that the petition filed in the High Court Jabalpur has been dismissed by Hon'ble court in final order pronounced on 07.01.2025,” read the latest notification.

As per the counselling dates, seat allotted candidates will have to report to the allotted institutes between January 9 and 13, 2025. During this period, students will also need to resign or submit willingness for upgradation in round 2, if they want.

The MP NEET PG NRI seat allotment PDF contains name of candidates, NEET PG roll number, NEET PG rank, MP state rank, NEET percentile, state-specific percentile, candidate type, MP domicile status, MBBS passing state, category, allotted institute, allotted subject, and other details.

NEET PG Cut-off 2024 Reduced: DME opens registrations

Meanwhile, DME MP has also reopened the registration window for MP NEET PG 2024 counselling after lowering of NEET PG cut-off 2024. Interested and eligible candidates, who have not applied already, can submit their applications between January 8 and 13.

MP NEET PG Counselling 2024: Round 2 seat allotment on hold

MP NEET PG 2024 round 2 seat allotment result has been withheld until further orders. “In compliance or order of the Hon'ble High Court of M.P. dated 06-01-2025 in WP 16212025, the allotment result of 2nd round of State NEET PG 2024 is kept in abeyance till further orders of the Hon'ble High Court,” said DME MP in an official notification.
