Nagaland board to conduct Class 12 practical exam 2024 from December 4 to 15

Download NowNEW DELHI: The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has announced the dates of NBSE HSSLC (Class 12) practical exam 2024. The board has also released the dates for the Class 11 practical exams and guidelines that have to be followed by the affiliated schools while conducting these.

The NBSE has directed the schools to conduct the NBSE Class 12 practical exams from December 4 to 15, 2023. The detailed time table of practical exams will be released soon on the official website, nbsenl.edu.in.
Guidelines for HSSLC practical exam
As per the NBSE guidelines, the institution shall provide all the materials and equipment required for the conduct of practical examination works. The school administration will also have to collect the practical exam fees at the rate approved by the board and utilise it for the remuneration of external examiners.
The NBSE guidelines also mentioned that the practical has to be conducted by an internal and external examiner. The latter should be a teacher or lecturer whose name(s) is submitted to the board.
Class 11 guidelines
The NBSE has directed affiliated schools to conduct Class 11 practical exams by the first week of February 2024. The exams will be conducted at the institutions and by the respective subject teachers. The subject teacher(s) will have to set the question paper based on the syllabus and shall evaluate the practical strictly in accordance with the marking scheme.

The board will consider all the recognised higher secondary schools and colleges as centres of practical examinations unless notified otherwise. The centre of examination for private candidates shall be notified by the board.
