Nagpur University launches BSc Drone Science, Cyber Science; admission through merit

University will accept the application form for BSc Drone Science, and BSc Cyber Science till July 25, 2025.
Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has launched Bachelor of Science (BSc) Drone Science, and BSc Cyber Science programmes. Students have to download the application form from the official website at nagpuruniversity.ac.in and submit it at the department of mathematics, along with the necessary documents.
Notably, the last date to submit the application form for UG programmes is July 25, 2025.
The BSc Drone Science programme aims to introduce drone systems, aerial robotics, GIS applications, remote sensing, and regulatory frameworks. Potential career opportunities after this course can be found in agriculture tech, defence , logistics, and surveillance, as per a statement from the university.
The BSc Cyber Science programme will focus on cybersecurity, ethical hacking, digital forensics, and cyber law. The programme aims to equip students for handling cyber threats in the digital world.
BSc at Nagpur University: Eligibility
For BSc admissions 2025 at RTMNU, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria, as prescribed by the university. Students should have scored 50% marks in Class 12 exams from a recognised board, with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects. A relaxation of 5% of marks is applicable to students of reserved categories.
Students who have not studied these subjects in Class 12, but who have completed a 2-credit equivalent Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) in physics or mathematics will also be accepted by RTMNU. The MOOC must belong to a UGC-recognised platform, such as SWAYAM .

The admissions will be purely merit-based, with students prioritised on the basis of Class 12 marks.
