NEW DELHI: National Board of Examinations (NBE) released a press notice of NEET PG result statistics on January 30, 2020. Through the official notice, a total of 1,60,888 candidates appeared for the computer based test on January 5, while 89,549 aspirants have passed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG). NBE has announced NEET PG result 2020 PDF on January 30, indicating marks obtained, All India Rank, qualifying status and roll number. The exam was held for admission to 19,953 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 10,821 Masters of Surgery (MS), 1979 PG Diploma and 1338 DNB CET seats offered in medical colleges and hospitals across the country.
NEET PG 2020 cutoff percentile & scores has also been announced with an increase of 26 marks for unreserved category candidates. The scores corresponding to qualifying percentile for general category (50th) is 366, while last year, the equivalent score was 340. Whereas, NEET PG cutoff for reserved candidates has noticed a hike of 24 marks with cutoff scores for this and last year as 319 and 295, respectively.

As many as., 41,788 UR category candidates (including PHs) have qualified NEET PG exam. Only 35039, 9935 and 2787 candidates from OBC, SC and ST, respectively have passed the national level entrance examination.

NEET PG Result 2020 Statistics - State-wise Qualification: Highest and Lowest
The state-wise number of candidates who appeared and qualified for the NEET PG 2020 exam has also been made available. With a total of 18,854 participants, Tamil Nadu has recorded the highest number of participants who appeared for the entrance test. Also the state has emerged as the topmost number of qualified candidates who managed to secure the minimum qualifying cutoff and equivalent scores set by NBE. However, on the other side, with just 145 candidates took the exam, Chandigarh has seen the least number of registration, of which 115 have passed the exam. After NEET PG Result 2020
NBE will release NEET PG merit list 2020 for 50% All India Quota candidates in the first week of March, which will mention the All India Rank, category-rank, 50% AIQ rank. Based on these NEET PG rank, preferences of colleges as well as courses selected by them, seats availability, reservation criteria and other factors the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct NEET PG counselling 2019 from second week of March.
