The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will close the registration window for the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT 2026) tomorrow, January 12. Eligible candidates can apply for GPAT 2026 through the official website, natboard.edu.in. The NBEMS will conduct the GPAT exam 2026 on March 7.

The GPAT 2026 application correction window will open on January 16. Candidates will be allowed to edit their submitted forms until January 19.

Candidates will be required to pay the GPAT application fee online—Rs 3,500 for General, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates, and Rs 2,500 for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category candidates.

The GPAT 2026 exam will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. The exam will be three hours long and will include 125 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from key pharmacy subjects, carrying a total of 500 marks.

As per the GPAT marking scheme, four marks are awarded for each correct answer, one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer, and no marks are given for unattempted questions.

As per the schedule, the pre-edit window to correct deficient or incorrect images will be open from February 6 to 9. The authorities will provide another opportunity for candidates to update their images from February 17 to 19.

The GPAT city intimation slip will be issued on February 24, and the admit card will be available on March 2. The NBEMS is scheduled to announce the GPAT 2026 result on April 7.

  • Go to the official website, natboard.edu.in.
  • Click on the 'GPAT' link from the examination section.
  • Next, click on the “GPAT application form 2026” link.
  • Fill the application form with the required information.
  • Upload the essential documents.
  • Pay the application form fee in online mode.
  • Submit the application form and take a printout of it for your future reference.
