NBEMS NEET PG 2024 result date soon; last year’s cut-offs for general medicine

NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is expected to declare the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test postgraduate (NEET PG 2024) results soon. NEET PG result 2024 link will be hosted on the NBE official website, natboard.edu.in. Candidates who appeared in the entrance exam for admission into MD, MS, and other PG diploma courses will be able to view and download the score card through candidate login link.

After postponing the exam multiple times, the board conducted the NEET PG exam 2024 for 2.28 lakh candidates in two shifts at 416 centres across 170 cities. The NEET PG answer key 2024 for both the shifts will be uploaded first on the nbe.edu.in portal. Candidates will be given an opportunity to raise objections against the provisional answer key.

The NBEMS recently announced that it has adopted the process which is currently being followed by All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for its various entrance exams in NEET PG results preparation. As per the marking scheme, the raw marks obtained by the candidates will be converted into percentile for each subject. The percentile score is the relative performance of all candidates who appeared in a shift and is converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0.

Last year, the NEET PG cut-off marks for general-EWS category was at 291 out of 800 and 274 for general-PwD, and 257 for SC, ST, OBC category students. However, the ministry of health reduced the cut-off marks to zero, following demands by students to fill all clinical and non-clinical seats.
