NBEMS reduces NEET SS 2023 special round counselling cut-off to zero

Candidates who have completed their PG as per NMC norms and appeared for NEET SS 2023 are eligible for upcoming special counselling round.
NEW DELHI: National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued a notification regarding the reduction in qualifying percentile for special round of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Super Speciality (NEET-SS) 2023 counselling. As per the notice, NBEMS has reduced the NEET SS cut-off to zero making all the students who appeared for the exam eligible for upcoming special round of counselling.
The NEET SS 2023 was conducted on September 29 and September 30, 2023 and the result was declared on October 15, 2023.
NBEMS has allowed all the candidates who have completed their post graduation as per NMC norms and have appeared for NEET SS 2023 exam for the academic year 2023 will be eligible to participate in the upcoming special round of NEET SS 2023 counselling.
Candidates can register for NEET SS special round counselling through the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in."Candidature is purely provisional subject of fulfilment of eligibility criteria as mentioned in NEET-SS 2023 Information Bulletin and verification of their Face ID/Biometric wherever required", NBEMS notice said.

Candidates should note that there is no change in NEET SS rank as declared on October 15, 2023. The board has advised to remain in touch with the website of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) at mcc.nic.in for the latest information related to the upcoming NEET-SS 2023 special round counselling.
The original NEET SS 2023 cut-off was was 50 percentile which got reduced to 20 percentile. While the NEET SS counselling 2023 is underway, the NMC has recommended to reduce the NEET SS cut-off 2023 to zero.
NEET SS Counselling 2024: Documents required
Candidates must keep the following documents handy for NEET SS special round counselling.
- Certificate of permanent/provisional registration issued by the National Medical Commission/NBE/State Medical Council
- Birth certificate to verify birth date. A high school diploma can also be used to verify date of birth.
- Identification documents such as PAN card, aadhar card, driver’s license, voter ID card or passport.
- NEET SS seat allotment letter 2023 issued by MCC
- NEET SS admit card
- Result of NEET SS 2023
- MBBS degree certificate
- MD/MS/DNB degree certificate in the concerned speciality
