Try NowNEW DELHI : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has postponed the NEET-UG counselling 2020 round 2 registrations to November 20. As per the notice released by the authorities, the round - 1 seat surrender facility has also been re-opened till November 19 up to 5:00 PM. The reason for the delay in round 2 of NEET 2020 counselling is stated as the revision of seat matrix owing to the addition of seats reserved for Wards of Insured Persons (IP Quota) in the final number of MBBS/BDS seats.
NEET 2020 counselling round two will be conducted for admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, deemed and central universities, ESIC, AFMC, AIIMS, and JIPMER. Read more to know further details
NEET 2020 counselling round two registration delayed
As the registration process for the second round of NEET counselling has been postponed, the delay in the further processes i.e. payment of registration fee, choice locking, processing of seat allotment, counselling result declaration, and reporting can be expected. Who are eligible for round two of NEET counselling 2020?
Listed below are the candidates who can apply for NEET UG counselling 2020.

Candidates who have not been allotted any seat in the round one.

Candidates who did not appear for the first round of counselling

Candidates who either did not join or have surrendered the seat allotted to them in counselling round one.

Reserved category candidates whose admission got cancelled during the first round document verification process can apply under a different category.
