NEET 2021 dates expected to be announced soon

Download EBookNew Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the official dates for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, or NEET 2021, at nta.ac.in or neet.nta.nic.in soon. After former education minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal, on July 6 announced the exam dates of the third and fourth phases of JEE 2021, medical aspirants demand an update on NEET 2021 .
For now, India's single largest medical entrance exam for undergraduate courses is scheduled to be held on August 1, 2021. However, medical aspirants are still waiting for the NEET 2021 application to be released. Read to know more details on NEET 2021 dates.
Will NEET 2021 be postponed?
Since medical experts have indicated the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, aspirants all over the country are requesting to postpone the medical exam. Considering that the JEE dates have been announced, the official dates for NEET 2021 can be expected soon.
As per the PTI reports, NEET 2021 is likely to be ‘pushed to September. ’ However, a final decision in this regard is yet to be taken. The report further states that the officials are in the process of reviewing the COVID-19 situation in the country.
NEET application form 2021
The authorities are expected to release the application form for NEET 2021 anytime soon. Along with the application form, NTA will also release the NEET 2021 information brochure including the events related dates such as the last date to register, the release of the admit card and the result.
The official bulletin will also mention the NEET 2021 eligibility criteria and process to register for the exam. Medical aspirants are advised to go through the NEET 2021 information brochure before filling the application form.
Through NEET-UG 2021 scores, 83,075 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH and 525 BVSc and AH, 1899 AIIMS and 249 JIPMER seats will be granted. Additionally, from this year forth, the scores of the NEET entrance exam will also be used for BSc Nursing and BSc Life Sciences admissions.
