NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) on September 12, 2021, from 2 to 5 pm. The undergraduate medical exam was conducted in pen and paper mode in 13 languages. A total of 200 questions were asked in NEET 2021, wherein, candidates needed to answer 180 questions.

How to calculate NEET 2021 scores using the official answer key

Given below is the method to calculate NEET 2021 scores through the official answer key by NTA.

  • Aspirants can tally their answers with the official NEET answer key 2021.

  • Candidates must keep an eye on the code of the question paper and the NEET answer key while tallying. Aspirants can find the sets and language of the answer key on the top of both, the answer key and OMR sheet

  • Students will then have to count the correct and incorrect responses to know their NEET score. In case, more than one answer is marked for a question, candidates must consider it to be unanswered. The marking scheme given below will be used to calculate scores.

Formula to calculate: NEET 2021 score = [4*(Number of Correct Responses)] – [1*(Number of Incorrect Responses)]
