As per the Aakash institute's experts, the difficulty level of NEET 2021 Zoology was moderate. Certain questions appeared to be easy at the first glance, but they were twisted and required precision and focus on the keywords. The surprise factor was that a question on Earthworm which only those would have attempted who were well versed with NCERT. The Paper was highly NCERT centric, yet 3-4 questions appeared to be highly interlinked requiring deep understanding. The medical aspirant who appeared for NEET 2021 said, the exam was moderate to difficult. The most difficult NEET 2021 section was in the exam was botany and zoology. The botany section of NEET 2021 is tougher in comparison to zoology. Whereas, physics section was easy. As for chemistry, it was easy to moderate in level of difficulty.

NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. The entrance exam is conducted for undergraduate medical, dental and BSc nursing courses.

The Narendra Modi Government earlier announced that the 27 per cent Other Backward Castes (OBC) reservation in medical and dental seats in state colleges will be implemented for NEET 2021.  NTA also stated that OBC reservation will be implemented only in the AIQ seats of central or national institutions, not in the state ones as the matter is sub-judice.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG) yesterday, September 11. Through NEET PG 2021 scores, admission to around 12,690 Master of Surgery (MS), 24,306 Doctor of Medicine (MD) and 922 PG Diploma seats will be granted in 6,102 government, private, deemed/central universities.

NEET is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2021) conducted for admission to 83,075 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 603 veterinary seats. This year, admission to BSc Nursing and BSc Life Sciences will be done through NEET-UG scores.

As per the latest NEET 2021 exam pattern, a total of 200 questions will be asked from all the sections of subjects, out of which candidates need to answer only 180. The questions in the NEET exam pattern are divided into two sections - Section A and B. Section A contains 35 questions while Section B will have 15 questions. Of these 15 questions in Section B, candidates need to answer 10 questions.

NEET 2021 will be conducted in 9 cities of Karnataka. The name of NEET 2021 Karnataka exam cities include Belgaum/Belgavi, Bengaluru, Devnagere, Dharwad, Gulbarga/Kalaburgi, Hubli, Mangaluru, Mysuru and Udupi. 

Candidates will be provided black/blue ballpoint at the NEET exam centre 2021 with which the responses have to be filled in the NEET 2021 OMR sheet. It is essential to fill the entire bubble in order for it to be considered a valid response. Candidates appearing for the NEET 2021 exam today must check the new exam pattern released by NTA earlier. As per the NEET 2021 revised exam pattern, each subject in the NEET question paper will be divided into two sections - Section A and Section B. Section A will contain 35 questions, while section B will have 15 questions. Out of those 15 questions in section B, candidates will have the option to answer any 10 questions.

Candidates must check the following guidelines to be followed after the conclusion of the NEET 2021 exam.

• Upon the conclusion of the exam, candidates must move out from the NEET 2021 exam hall in an orderly manner.

• The NEET 2021 admit card must be handed over to the Invigilator after the exam concludes. Action will be taken against any candidate who doesn't hand over the admit card to the invigilator.

Check the process of frisking at the NEET exam centre 2021 as per the COVID-19 advisory. 

• A metal detector will be there at the NEET exam centre to detect the metal.
• The metal detector does not come in physical contact with any candidate during the process of frisking at the NEET 2021 exam centre. 
• Bluetooth and Wi-Fi signal presence will be checked and jammed by authorities.

Candidates must not carry the following items at the NEET 2021 exam centre.

• Stationery items, printed or any kind of paper other than admit card and ID proof are not permitted inside the exam hall.
• Items like geometry/pencil box, calculator, pen, scale, writing pad, pen drives, eraser etc will not be allowed inside the test centre.
• Communication devices like mobile phones, Bluetooth, earphones, pager, health bands etc. are strictly prohibited.
• Candidates cannot carry items such as wristwatches, wallets, handbags, belts, caps to any other ornaments.
• Any other item like microchip, Bluetooth, camera, which could be used for unfair means are prohibited inside the exam hall.

The following guidelines must be followed by each aspirant during the NEET 2021 exam.

• Students must sanitise their hands with a sanitiser available in the NEET 2021 exam hall.

• Candidates are required to paste passport size photographs and sign on the attendance sheet and admit card after sanitizing hands with sanitiser.

• In order to stop the chances of any UFM being used in the examination, candidates will be given fresh N95 masks.

The following are the NEET 2021 COVID-19 guidelines to be followed before the commencement of the exam.

• Candidates must reach the NEET 2021 exam centre at the time allotted to them on the admit card. It is to be noted that no aspirant will be permitted entry inside the NEET 2021 examination hall after the closing of the gate.

• Aspirants need to maintain social distancing at all times at NEET 2021 exam centre.

• Students must bring a duly filled NEET 2021 admit card and undertaking along with other mandatory documents at the exam centre.

• Candidates will have to wear masks and carry small sanitisers when reporting to the NEET 2021 exam centres.

• Hand sanitiser will be available at the entry date and inside the exam centre at various places for candidates and centre staff to use.

• The gap of two seats will be maintained at the NEET 2021 examination hall.

Candidates are not allowed to carry a pen or a pencil inside the NEET 2021 examination hall. The authorities will be providing the pen at the allotted NET 2021 exam centres for writing NEET exam 2020. It is advised that aspirants should only carry their NEET 2021 admit cards, along with the mandatory documents. 

The dress code for the NEET exam 2021 has been specified and followed for the smooth conduct of the exam. • Light clothes can be worn without or fewer zip, pockets, big buttons, big pockets and embroidery.
• Boys can also wear trousers, simple pants and sandals and chappals.
• No kurta pyjama, shoes, belts, large buttons, long-sleeved clothes, metal items or jewellery can be worn inside the exam hall.

• Simple pants and trousers can be worn inside the NEET 2021 examination hall. 

• As per dress code guidelines, girls can wear leggings in NEET exam and trousers with no big pockets and belts or big buttons
