New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the exam for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, or NEET on August 1, 2021. NEET 2021 latest news by NTA- What we know so far

As per the latest news on NEET 2021, the officials are in the process of reviewing the COVID-19 situation in the country. NTA has not released any statement regarding the postponement of NEET 2021. The newly launched website for NEET 2021- neet.nta.nic.in was earlier generated by the authorities. However, the NEET 2021 application form and the bulletin are yet to be released for the medical candidates.

So far, the medical exam will be conducted on the scheduled date in pen and paper mode for over 15 lakh medical aspirants.

Where will the NEET 2021 application form be released?

The registration form will be released on the newly launched official website of NEET 2021, neet.nta.ac.in. However, the authorities are most likely to release notification on the official website of NTA, which is nta.ac.in. Therefore, candidates are advised to keep track of both websites in order to avoid missing any important notification.

Along with the NEET application form, NTA will also release the information brochure including the events related dates such as the last date to register, the release of the admit card and result. The official bulletin will also mention the NEET 2021 eligibility criteria and process to register for the exam. Medical aspirants are advised to go through the NEET 2021 information brochure before filling the application form.

Total number of seats through NEET 2021

Through NEET-UG 2021 scores, 83,075 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH and 525 BVSc and AH, 1899 AIIMS and 249 JIPMER seats will be granted. Additionally, from this year forth, the scores of the NEET entrance exam will also be used for BSc Nursing and BSc Life Sciences admissions.
