NEET 2021: NTA warns students of fake notice, says suitable date to be announced soon

NTA clarified that no notice on the conduct of NEET 2021 on September 5 was issued by the authorities. NTA is in consultation with stakeholders to finalize a suitable date for NEET exam.

Register NowNEW DELHI : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a clarification on July 7, 2021, regarding the fake notice on ‘conduct of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG)-2021’. Dismissing the fake notice on the NEET exam date that is being widely circulated through various social media platforms, the agency warned students not to believe in such unverified information.
On July 5, 2021, a fake notice on the conduct of NEET 2021 was being circulated which mentioned, “NEET (UG)-2021 will be conducted in 11 languages including English and Hindi through pen and paper mode on 05 September 2021.”
NTA clarification on NEET fake notice
The NTA dismissed the fake notice on NEET exam dates 2021 and said that “The fake/unauthorised public notice is being viewed seriously by the NTA as it is being circulated by some unscrupulous elements to misguide the NEET aspirants, parents and guardians at large.”
The authority has requested “all the aspiring candidates/parents and guardians and other stakeholders to be aware of such unauthorized/fake public notice released from unknown sources and to rely on the official websites - nta.ac.in and ntaneet.nic.in”. Candidates and parents are advised to be in touch with NTA official websites including application and conducting the exam.
NEET 2021 exam date to be finalized
NEET conducting authority mentioned that “The NTA is still in consultation with the concerned stakeholders for finalizing a suitable date for conducting NEET (UG)-2021, keeping in view the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.”
However, after the announcement of JEE Main dates, the NTA is expected to announce NEET dates 2021 soon . Medical aspirants are also demanding the authorities to announce NEET UG schedule . For now, NEET 2021 will be conducted on August 1 in offline mode for admission to 83,075 MBBS, 26,949 BDS< 52,720 AYUSH, 525 BVSc and AH seats. Also, the admission to1899 and 249 MBBS seats in AIIMS and JIPMER institutes will be done through NEET scores.
