NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the exam date for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET UG 2022 soon at nta.ac.in. Students planning to appear in the undergraduate medical test must know the NEET 2022 exam pattern which includes, the number of questions, language, mode of the paper, marking scheme and more.

NEET UG 2022 exam will include 200 questions out of which candidates have to attempt only 180 questions. The questions will be asked from Class 11 and 12 syllabi from physics, chemistry and biology subjects. Aspirants are advised to read further to know more details on the paper pattern of NEET 2022.
As mentioned above, the NEET 2022 paper will include questions from physics, chemistry and biology subjects. Each subject will have two sections, Section A and Section B containing 35 and 15 questions respectively. Out of the 15 questions asked in Section B, students will have an option to attempt 10 questions. The bifurcation of section-wise marks is provided in the table below.

The undergraduate medical exam will be held in the pen and paper (offline) mode in a total of 13 languages; English, Hindi. Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Punjabi and Malayalam. The type of questions asked in the NEET 2022 paper will be multiple choice based questions.
Given below are the marking schemes for the NEET-UG 2022 exam.
As per the paper pattern of NEET 2022, for every correct answer, students will be awarded 4 marks.
One mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.
No marks will be awarded or deducted for any unanswered questions.
Note: Students must note that selecting multiple answers for a single question can lead to negative remarks. Additionally, no aspirants will be able to change their answers after marking in the OMR sheets.
