NEET 2022: Students say NEET paper was moderate; extra time helped

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) held the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2022) today from 2 pm to 5:20 pm. According to many candidates, the NEET 2022 exam was moderate in terms of difficulty level. While some students said that the NEET 2022 exam was comparatively harder than the NEET 2021 exam, some considered it easier. Most students found the extra time provided by NTA for NEET 2022 paper to be helpful in attempting questions.

Mansi, who is writing the NEET exam for the first time told Careers360 that the exam went well for her. "The exam was neither too hard, nor very easy," she said. When asked about the subject-wise difficulty, she said that she found biology and chemistry to be easy, but physics to be hard.
Another candidate, Sahal Chaudhary said that the biology part was easy, and physics was easy compared to NEET 2021 exam. He found the chemistry part to be a bit difficult. "Biology was easy, physics was easier compared to the last year's paper, and chemistry was a little difficult, especially, physical chemistry," he told Careers360. He further said that overall the NEET 2022 paper was easier compared to the NEET 2021 paper and that the extra time provided this year was advantageous for him.

According to another NEET aspirant, the NEET paper this year was comparatively harder than the previous year. "Chemistry was hard, biology was normal and physics was medium-level in terms of difficulty," he said. According to the aspirant, the chemistry part has more questions from the organic chemistry section. When asked, whether the extra 20 minutes of time provided by the NTA was an advantage to him, he responded by saying that it was advantageous and helped him in attempting more questions.
NTA is expected to issue the NEET 2022 answer key on the NTA NEET website neet.nta.nic.in soon. Many NEET aspirants had requested to postpone NEET 2022 due to floods in many states and delays due to NEET 2021 counselling.
