"Gradually, I had to regain my motivation and get back to my preparation. It takes two years of hard work to prepare for NEET; everything cannot be decided in just the last two or three months."

Jabalpur's Aryman Singh Solanki becomes the state topper for NEET UG 2026, securing an AIR 46. While speaking to PTI, he said: 

"I started my main preparation in Class 11. During Classes 9 and 10, I had gone through some of the Class 11 and 12 concepts, but my serious preparation began in Class 11. I wasn't studying for 8 or 10 hours every day. I studied consistently for about 4 to 5 hours daily, and that consistency is what helped me get selected. Studying for 10 hours one day and then not studying at all the next day doesn't help. You need to be consistent every single day.”

The father of NEET UG 2026 topper Uplakshya Goyal, All India Rank 3, Mukesh Goyal says: "This is an incredibly proud moment for us. Back in the 11th grade, he asked me what career he should pursue. I told him to do whatever he felt passionate about. The hard work he has put in is truly commendable. He never demanded anything from us, nor did he ever ask to go out. Since many students were scoring a perfect 720, he was doubtful whether he would secure an AIIMS seat, given how limited they are. So, after the initial shock of the paper leak, he became happy about the re-exam and actually scored one mark higher than before."
