Download EBookNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) official website - neet.nta.nic.in - today. NEET application form 2021 along with the information brochure is expected to be available soon on the official website . Only candidates who will fulfil the eligibility criteria can fill the NEET 2021 application form. NTA will conduct NEET 2021 exam on August 1, for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc and AH courses.

The NEET notification released on March 12, 2021, mentions that the application form with the brochure will be released soon. However, there is no update on NEET 2021 form date so far. Students took to Twitter requesting the NTA and the education minister to release the NEET registration. Last year, the NTA released the NEET application form from December 2, 2019, to January 6, 2020, while the exam was scheduled to be held on May 3. Last year, NEET was conducted on September 13, 2020.
Who is eligible to fill NEET 2021 application forms?

Any Indian, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Person of Indian Origin (PIOs) and foreign nationals can apply for NEET

Candidates must be of 17 years old as of December 31, 2021

The upper age limit for NEET aspirants is 25 years. Relaxation of 5 years for reserved category candidates

Students should be appearing or passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects

In the NEET qualifying exam, general category aspirants must secure at least 50% while for SC/ST/OBC category candidates, it is 40%
Steps to fill NEET 2021 application form
Candidates must check that the application form of NEET 2021 is filled in carefully and completely. Once the NEET registration process starts, the steps to be followed to fill the form are:

Registration - Name of the candidate, parent’s name, date of birth, nationality, category, mobile number, ID type and number

Filling of personal, Class 10, 11 and 12 details, contact, exam centre selection and other details

Uploading of scanned images

Payment of NEET application fee

Printout of the confirmation page
What to keep ready before filling NEET 2021 form?
Before registration, students must keep the following things ready for a smooth process with minimal chances of mistakes.

Valid mobile number and email ID

Class 10, Class 11 and Class 12 - Marksheet, certificate, roll number, centre code and other details

Aadhaar card number

Passport number for foreign nationals

Scanned images - passport size photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression, Class 10 passing certificate and postcard size photograph

Online payment - Credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI payment gateway details
