The Common Entrance Test (CET) cell, Maharashtra has notified the MHT CET 2025 normalisation method. The step-by-step process for normalisation and preparation of percentile score is given below. 

Step 1: Distribution of examinees in two days and in two shifts per day. Candidates would be distributed into four sessions randomly so that each session has approximately equal number of candidates.

These four sessions would be as follows:

• Session 1: Day-1 Batch 1-1
• Session 2: Day-1 batch-2
• Session 3: Day-2 Batch-1
• Session 4: Day-2 Batch-2

Step 2: The results for each session would be prepared in the form of raw scores:

Step 3: The percentile scores for the total raw score for all the four sessions would be merged and will be called the CET scores which will then be used for compilation of result.

• The question paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four options (answers) for each question.

• Total duration for the MHT CET exam is 180 Minutes in which the candidate has to solve 200 questions.
• There is no negative marking.

• Questions will be available in English/ Urdu/ Marathi languages. However, question paper in Urdu & Marathi will only be available to the candidates who have opted for that particular language/medium as preferred language for question paper in the online CET application form.
• Candidates referring to Marathi and Urdu version of the question paper should take a note of the fact that they should refer to the original English version in case of doubt.
• In case of any dispute regarding the question, the original English version will be considered as final.

The duration of MHT CET 2025 PCM exam is 180 minutes. Candidates will be required to solve 150 questions in three hours.
