NEW DELHI: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the counselling schedule of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET UG at the official website - nmc.org.in. NEET state counselling schedule mention the dates of round one, two, mop-up and stray vacancy which every state authority should follow.

Through the NEET UG counselling schedule for all states, NMC has set a deadline to complete the seat allotment process till the last date. The notice also reads that the NEET counselling dates have been announced ‘to ensure faithful obedience of time schedule and also keeping in view the limited time available for conducting counselling.’ This NEET 2021 state counselling schedule has also been published on the MCC website - mcc.nic.in.

As per the NEET UG counselling 2021 schedule, the first round will begin from January 27 to 31, 2022. The second round of NEET counselling will start from February 15, 2022.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin the NEET counselling from January 19, 2022. The first round NEET counselling registration link will be available at mcc.nic.in. The eligible candidates can register for round one counselling till January 24, 2022. During the registration process, students have to provide their choices of colleges in which they wish to take admission.

Based on these NEET counselling choices filled, seats available in the colleges preferred, NEET-UG rank, reservation criteria and other factors, the seat allotment will be done. NEET seat allotment by MCC will be done for 15% All India Quota (AIQ), 100% deemed/central universities, AFMC/ESIC institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER. Based on NEET counselling 2021, around 89,395 MBBS, 27,948 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 603 BVSc and AH seats will be filled.
