NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will begin the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG 2021) counselling on October 25.

Students who have qualified in the NEET PG 2021 exam will be able to fill their choice of course and college during the NEET PG 2021 counselling process for admission to All India Quota seats, state medical and dental colleges, Central and Deemed Universities.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the NEET PG 2021 counselling in online mode at mcc.nic.in.
National Medical Council (NMC) and NBE have informed that new LoPs and Accreditations will be issued by November 15. Hence, new/fresh seats not included in Round 1 may be added in Round 2 of NEET-PG Counselling, 2021 which is scheduled to commence from November 15, according to an official statement.
According to the statement, MCC has advised candidates to make an informed decision during choice-filling in Round 1 of NEET-PG Counselling, 2021.
In the first round of counselling, registration will be open from October 25 to October 29 and students will be able to do choice-filling till October 29. The respective institutes will verify the internal candidates from October 30 to 31. After processing of seat allotment, the result of counselling will be announced on November 3. Students will have to report from November 4 to 10.
Round-2 counselling will begin on November 15 and candidates will be able to register and do choice-filling till November 19. The colleges and institutes will verify the candidates by November 21 and after processing of seat allotment, the result will arrive on November 24. Candidates will have to report before December 2.
Another mop-up round of NEET PG counselling will be held only for deemed/central universities and ESIC/AFMS institutes starting from December 7.

NEET PG 2021 exam was conducted on September 11, 2021. Through NEET PG 2021 scores, students will be able to seek admission to around 12,690 Master of Surgery (MS), 24,306 Doctor of Medicine (MD) and 922 PG Diploma seats in 6,102 government, private, deemed/central universities.
