NEW DELHI: After the demands of exam postponements, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG) has been postponed. Harsh Vardhan, the minister of health has tweeted that the Government of India has decided to postpone NEET PG 2021 exam. The computer based entrance exam was scheduled to be held on April 18, 2021, while the NEET PG admit card has been released on April 13.
Through the twitter account, the health minister, Harsh Vardhan tweeted that, “GoI has decided to postpone #NEETPG2021 exam which was earlier scheduled to be held on Apr 18 Next date to be decided later .”

Also, the notification has been released stating that the NEET PG notice will be issued before conducting the examination and the minister’s letter on April 13, 2021, stands withdrawn.
Since NEET-PG 2021 has been postponed, aspirants are thanking the government for understanding their situation.

NEET PG is conducted for admission to around 24,360 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 12,690 Master of Surgery (MS) seats. The exam will contain 200 multiple choice questions from pre-clinical, clinical, para-clinical subjects taught in MBBS curriculum.
