NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has warned medical aspirants and stakeholders regarding “spoofed notices” in the name of National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). The clarification comes shortly after fake reports on NEET PG 2022 postponed surfaced. However, the official website had no updates regarding the postponement.

The NBE in its latest notice said, “It has come to the notice of NBEMS that some unscrupulous elements are circulating false and bogus information using spoofed notices in the name of NBEMS.”

“It is reiterated that NBEMS publishes various notices pertaining to its activities on its official websites natboard.edu.in only. Stakeholders are advised to visit the above indicated website for the current and authentic information regarding NBEMS.”

It further informed that all NBEMS notices issued July 2020 onwards bear a QR code. Scanning the QR code will redirect the user to the said notice on the NBE official website.

It also advised all stakeholders “not to be allured or misled by any unverified notice and should cross verify any information regarding NBEMS through its website”.

"For any query, please contact NBEMS Candidate Care Support at 011-45593000 or write to NBEMS at its Communication Web Portal https://exam.natboard.edu.in/communication.php?page=main,” it added.

As per the fake news that was circulating on social media, the NEET PG 2022 exam was postponed to July 9, 2022.

Meanwhile, a large section of students are still demanding for the postponement of NEET PG 2022 exam citing ineligibility of 5,000 interns and insufficient gap between the exam and NEET PG 2021 Counselling.

The All India Medical Students Association (AIMSA) had also recently filed a plea in the Supreme Court seeking NEET PG 2022 postponement. While the NCR Parents' Association president Sukhpal Singh Toor told PTI that around 70 people have taken Delhi Police's permission for a "peaceful protest" at the Jantar Mantar in the national capital on Sunday.
