NEET PG 2026: Selective edit window opens at natboard.edu.in; guidelines

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has opened the selective edit window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2026. The last date to correct the deficient images is August 10, 2026.

During this time period, applicants can upload photographs, signature, or left thumb impressions which have been found deficient during scrutiny. In case, applicant fails to rectify deficient images in the given time then his/her application will be rejected.

NBEMS cleared that candidates can not change their personal information, academic details, category, test city preferences, or any other details in the NEET PG 2026 form.

NEET PG Selective Edit Window 2026: Steps to correct images

To upload the correct image, aspirants can follow the steps given below:

• Visit the official website of NBEMS at natboard.edu.in
• On the homepage, log in using the details, including user ID and password.
• On the dashboard, click on the image scrutiny tab
• Upload the fresh images for the section which is flagged as per the specifications mentioned in the information bulletin
• Submit the corrected images and download the conformation page for further reference

NEET PG 2026: Image upload guidelines

The guidelines for uploading image in the NEET PG application form are as follows:

• Applicants must upload a real-time photograph captured through the computer's webcam or built-in camera while filling the application form and a recent colour photograph not older than three months.
• The photograph should be taken against a plain white background, show the full face, ears, neck, and shoulders in a frontal view, have a neutral facial expression with eyes open and looking directly at the camera and in formal attire. The photo should not include spectacles, caps, goggles, stethoscopes, makeup, or ornaments.

• The signature should be written in blue or black ink on a plain white sheet. The sign must be done within a 3.5 cm × 1.5 cm box. The signature should not consist of initials alone or be written in capital letters.

The same guidelines apply to left thumb impressions and all the images should be uploaded in .jpg/.jpeg format with a file size below 80 KB.
