NEET PG Counselling 2021: Round 1 registration begins at mcc.nic.in

On the basis of NEET PG counselling admission will be granted to: 

• 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats

• Central universities

• AFMS Institutions

• Deemed Universities

• State quota seats in government colleges in the state

• State quota seats in private medical institutions in the state

• Universities established by an Act of State

• Universities established by municipal bodies trust, society or company

On the basis of NEET PG 2021 counselling, authority will grant admission to 9,953 MD, 10,821 MS, 1,979 PG Diploma, and 1,338 DNB CET seats in 6,102 colleges and 649 hospitals.

This is the process that MCC will follow with NEET counselling: 

• MCC will conduct four rounds of counselling - rounds 1 and 2, a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round
• AIQ seats remaining vacant after round 2 will not be return to the state quota of seats but be filled in the mop-up and stray vacancy rounds 
• Fresh candidates will be allowed only in the first three rounds, including mop-up round. 
• Candidates who accept the seat allotted in round 1 cannot participate in subsequent rounds of counselling
• Candidates who do not join the allotted seat by round 2 will have to pay a security deposit to participate in further rounds and apply for fresh registration in the mop-up round only.

Aspirants have started demanding clarity on NEET UG Counselling dates as the process has been delayed for more than two months.

NEET PG counselling schedule has been released by MCC on the official website, mcc.nic.in. The NEET PG 2021 counselling registration for round one can be done till January 17, 2022. While the choice filling facility for NEET PG counselling will be available from January 13, 2022.

The National Board of Examination (NBE) will announce the NEET PG 2022 exam date at nbe.edu.in. The detail regarding the NEET PG 2022 exam dates will be released along with the information brochure PDF. 

The NEET PG 2022 application form will be released at nbe.edu.in. The NEET PG 2022 registration dates have not been confirmed yet. Any latest announcement on NEET PG 2022 will be notified on the official website. 

NBE has not announced any update on NEET PG 2022 yet. Any latest announcements related to NEET PG 2022 exam date will be updated here.

A facility to change the password is available to signed-in applicants. The applicant will mcc.nic.in login into the system and click on the “Change Password” button. The applicant will enter the old password, new password, confirm the new password with a captcha code to change the password.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct four rounds of counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats in NEET UG and PG 2021 and vacant seats will not go back to the state quota after the second round of counselling.

As per the latest update, NEET PG 2021 Counselling for PG DNB seats is to be conducted by MCC of DGHS, MoHFW.

The MCC has asked candidates to download the 'Sandes' app to get NEET PG 2021 counseling-related updates.

MCC has started the registration for round 1 NEET PG 2021 counselling at mcc,nic.in.

This year onwards, NEET UG and PG 2021 counselling will be conducted in four rounds. The counselling scheme for central institutions will remain the same as previous years. “The proposed modified scheme of Online 4 rounds of counselling will be in tune with the prevailing norms of counselling (including the fees and security deposit) being followed for Central Institutes/Universities,” the MCC said.

Candidates must note that Non- Refundable registration fees and Refundable Security Deposit have to be paid by the candidate at the time of NEET PG 2021 registration as per their category.

Aspirants are advised to avoid any kind of rumors related to NEET PG 2022 exam postponement. As, NBE has not announced any latest update on NEET PG 2022 exam date. 

For participation in NEET PG Counselling 2021 candidates are required to go for registration at the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (www.mcc.nic.in).

The allotment of NEET PG 2021 seats in various institutions will be based on the candidates’ merit rank, opted preference, seats available, reservation criteria, and others. The result of each round of NEET PG counselling 2021 will be declared on the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in.

During the NEET PG 2021 counselling, aspirants have to pay the security deposit according to the category. The security deposit is refundable however, can be fortified in certain circumstances during counselling of NEET PG 2021.

Aspirants can download their NEET PG 2021 scorecard from nbe.edu.in and natboard.edu.in. 

MCC will conduct the NEET PG 2021 counselling for stray vacancy round for Central University/Institutes/All India Quota/DNB seats in online mode.

To apply for NEET PG counselling, candidates will be required to register for the counselling by using the email address and phone numbers used during the exam application process.  

Candidates have to keep the following documents ready before the NEET PG Counselling begins.

• NEET 2021 admit card.

• NEET 2021 scorecard with rank.

• Class 10 and 12 marksheet.

• ID proof - Aadhaar card, PAN card, Driving License etc.

• Coloured passport sized photographs.

• Caste certificate and PwD certificate, if applicable.

Through the MCC NEET PG 2021 counselling, the AIQ fresh registrations will be allowed in the first three rounds and not in the spot round.

As per NEET PG 2021 counselling latest news and updates, the Supreme Court has allowed the resumption of counselling for NEET PG 2021 with the existing OBC, EWS reservation. MCC NEET PG counselling 2021 will be conducted for 27% OBC and 10% EWS quota.

The registration link of NEET PG 2021 round 1 will be made available by MCC at www.mcc.nic.in. The direct NEET PG 2021 registration will be provided hereafter with availability.

The registration payment facility for Round 1 of NEET PG Counselling 2021 will start by 2:00 PM.
