Candidates who intend to surrender their Odisha NEET PG 2025 round 1 allotments are required to complete the resignation process in person on December 16 and December 17. Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh, has started the round 2 choice filling for UP NEET PG 2025 counselling today. Candidates can choose their preferred colleges by December 19.

For NEET PG counselling 2025, candidates must carry the NEET PG admit card and result, MBBS/BDS mark sheets and degree certificate, internship completion certificate, MCI registration certificate, proof of date of birth, valid ID proof, and applicable caste or disability certificates.

Candidates who are allotted a seat should report to their respective colleges between December 17 and 25, 2025.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has updated seat availability for NEET PG round 2 following resignations and withdrawals. A total of 540 seats were added, 117 duplicate seats removed, and 18 AFMS seats had a quota change to ensure smooth counselling and accurate allocation.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has instructed all participating medical colleges to verify the seat matrix before processing the NEET PG round 2 results, warning that any complaints regarding discrepancies or duplicate seats after processing will not be entertained. The NEET PG round 2 seat verification is scheduled to be held on December 26.

DME Assam has started the online choice filling process for Assam NEET PG counselling 2025 round 2. Candidates can enter their preferences for Assam NEET PG counselling 2025 on the official website, dme.assam.gov.in, by December 16.

As per the schedule, the MP NEET PG round 2 counselling registration will close today, December 15. Candidates can register for MP NEET PG counselling 2025 on the official website, dme.mponline.gov.in.

Participating institutes will submit the data of candidates who have joined the allotted seats to the Medical Counselling Committee on December 26, 2025. This final step completes the NEET PG round-2 counselling process, allowing MCC to update the official records of admitted candidates.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will declare the NEET PG 2025 Counselling Round 2 seat allotment result on December 16. As per the schedule, the MP NEET PG round 2 counselling registration will begin on December 15 on the official website, dme.mponline.gov.in.  Candidates allotted seats in the MP NEET PG round 1 counselling will be allowed to complete the admission process and opt for resignation or upgradation, latest by December 15. The MCC recently added 135 new postgraduate medical seats for the NEET PG round 2 counselling. Of which, the highest of 46 seats were added in North Bengal Medical College. Madhya Pradesh received approval for 20 seats across three medical colleges - six at Government Medical College, Shivpuri; two at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College; and 12 at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College, Jabalpur.

SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, has suspended the Odisha NEET PG round 2 counselling schedule in view of the extension of the MCC NEET PG choice filling date.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the Karnataka NEET PG final allotment 2025 for in-service candidates. A total of 75 candidates were shortlisted under the in-service quota, however, only 59 have been allotted seats.

The MCC has clarified that the NEET PG round 2 choice filling was briefly paused due to addition of seats after resignation, withdrawal of duplicate seats, and quota changes. As per the data shared by MCC, a total of 540 candidates have opted for resignation, and these seats will be added to the round 2 seat matrix.

The selection and locking process for the first round of the Chandigarh National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Post Graduate (NEET PG) 2025 counselling has begun at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh.  By December 15th, eligible candidates can use the option-filling facility to select the universities and programs of their choosing.
