NEET PG 2025 Stray Vacancy Counselling: MCC allots 2,799 seats in final round; 181 seats remain vacant

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has declared the provisional seat allotments for the final round of NEET PG counselling 2025. A total of 2,799 candidates have been allotted MD, MS, and diploma seats in the MCC NEET PG stray vacancy round.

Candidates can download the NEET PG seat allotment result on the official website, mcc.nic.in. The MCC has asked candidates to report any discrepancy in the result through the email ID, mccresultquery@gmail.com, by February 22 up to 11 am.

The MCC NEET PG final seat allotment results will be published on the portal after reviewing the discrepancies submitted by candidates, it said.

“The Candidates are further informed that the provisional result is only indicative in nature and subject to change. The candidates cannot claim any right over the allotted seat in the provisional result and the provisional result cannot be challenged before the Court of Law,” the MCC clarified.

It further instructed candidates to download the allotment order and report to the allotted college only after the declaration of the final results.

The MCC had notified a total of 2,980 clear vacancies for the final NEET PG stray vacancy round, of which, a total of 2,799 seats have been filled, leaving 181 seats vacant. As per the NEET PG stray vacancy allotment list, 18 candidates have been offered seats under the AFMS seats and 73 seats under the NRI category.

Candidates offered admissions in the final round are required to report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities between February 22 and 28. The MCC will also share the allotment data with the state counselling committee for weeding out of allotted candidates.
