NEET Results 2024: Opposition demands explanation

Congress member Supriya Shrinate talked about the ‘controversy’ over NEET results 2024 and pointed out how 67 students scored full marks, eight of them being from the same exam centre, and how the results were declared 10 days before the proposed date. Adding that NEET 2024 application window was opened 24 days before the exam, the Congress spokesperson asked why this happened, how many aspirants filled the application form, how many students were from which centre, and how many of those students passed.

“First the news of NEET paper leak and now the error in the result is ruining the future of lakhs of youth of the country. Need answer from government,” she said in a post.

The official page of Indian National Congress (INC) also questioned the NEET UG results 2024 and said that the future of lakhs of aspirants is in danger. Calling out the government, it said that no exam can be conducted without paper leak under its rule. “Sir claims to stop wars in foreign countries but he is unable to even stop paper leaks in the country,” it added.

Vinod Jakhar, the president of National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) Rajasthan, reiterated how 67 NEET candidates grabbed AlR 1 in the exam and said, “The youth of the country are forced to give up their lives but the government has observed a vow of silence. We want an answer from the government. When will it eradicate the exam mafia from this country?”

A Congress candidate wrote on X, “First NEET paper leak and now the glitch in NEET is ruining the future of lakhs of youth of the country. First there was paper leak and now there was rigging in NEET results but no action is being taken. Children are committing suicide due to stress. NTA is trying to cover up the selection formula and paper leak in NEET exam, fraud, and scam.”
