NEET SS 2023 Counselling: MCC issued list of INI candidates who were allowed resignation and asked them to take back original certificates.
NEW DELHI : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will be conducting a special round of counselling for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) SS 2023. The committee has issued the eligibility criteria for NEET SS counselling 2023 special round.
“All the NEET SS 2023 eligible candidates are hereby informed that to prevent wastage of precious medical seats, the competent authority decided to conduct a special round for the vacant DM, MCh and DNB SS seats of AIQ,” said MCC in an official notice.
NEET SS Counselling 2023: Eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria for the special round are as follows:
- Resignation will be permitted only for those joined candidates, who have been allotted seats in INI institutes.
- The candidates who have joined round 1 or round 2 seats of MCC and not allotted INI seats, will not be allowed to resign from their joined seats.
- The upgradation facility will be available in special round to all candidates who have joined in round 1 and round 2 of MCC counselling 2023.
- Candidates willing to participate in the special round or willing to upgrade previously allotted seats have to fill fresh choices in the special round. Earlier filled choices will be treated as null and void.
MCC had allowed INI allotted candidates who also joined the first or second round through MCC counselling to resign their seats. The committee issued a list of candidates who have been allowed to resign without forfeiture of security deposit.
The committee asked medical institutes to allow resignation of those candidates who are included in the list.
“Candidates who have reported on their allotted seats through MCC (as per attached list) can now take their original certificates back from the allotted college. However, such candidates will not be eligible to participate in special round of All India SS counselling 2023. The seats so vacated will be included in upcoming special round of SS counselling 2023,” said MCC about the resignation.
