NEET SS Counselling: NMC approves 49 DM, MCh seats for academic year 2025-26 after appeals

NEET SS Counselling 2025-26 round 2 counselling registration will close on April 3, and the results will be announced on April 7.
NEET SS Counselling 2026: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has approved additional DM, MCh seats for NEET SS counselling for the academic year 205-26, following the decision of the first appeal committee. A total of 49 seats have been approved for NEET SS counselling 2026 for DM and MCh admissions.
As per the official NMC notice, the LOPs for these sanctioned postgraduate seats for the academic year 2025-26 will be published shortly. The counselling authorities can include these additional seats in the admission process.
The Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) under NMC stated that these seats were granted after reviewing appeals filed by medical colleges under Section 28(5) of the NMC Act, 2019.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts NEET SS counselling 2026 in online mode. As per the NEET SS counselling 2026 schedule, the round 2 registration will end on April 3, and the choice filling facility will close on April 4.
NEET SS counselling round 2 seat allotment 2025 results will be announced on April 7, and the college reporting will be held from April 8 to 16.
