In between the registration process, the demand for NEET UG 2022 postponement by the students is on rise. As per the latest update on NEET 2022, candidates are requesting the education minister Dharmendra Pradhan to conduct the exam in the late August or early September. Over 10,000 MBBS candidates have also written to NTA requesting the same.
According to the students, an insufficient gap between NEET 2021 counselling and NEET 2022 exam date, as well as, the clash with the Common University Entrance Test (CUET 2022), and other state entrance exams has been a major issue.
Neither NTA, nor any official has released an official statement regarding postponing NEET UG yet. The exam is scheduled to be held on June 17, 2022 for admission to medical, dental, BSc nursing and AYUSH courses in India.
