NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2022) notification is expected to be released soon by the National Testing Agency on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. As per various media reports, the NEET 2022 exam is likely to be postponed to July and the NEET application process 2022 is expected to begin from April 1, 2022.

Aspirants who wish to appear for the national level medical entrance examination must note that the NTA has not yet announced the NEET 2022 exam date. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, MoHFW had recommended the last two weeks of June as the suitable time for conducting NEET 2022. However, as several boards including the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), will conclude the board exams 2022 in mid-June, the NEET 2022 exam may be postponed.
“Experts have pointed out that NTA would also be busy with the declaration of JEE Main 2022 result in the month of June. Some are also of the opinion that NEET 2022 might be conducted by mid-July with result declaration expected by or before August 31, 2022,” as per reports.
As per the NEET-UG 2022 latest update, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has scrapped the upper age limit for NEET-UG medical aspirants to appear for the entrance exam, which was 25 years for unreserved candidates and 30 years for the reserved candidates.
NEET 2022 exam will be conducted in the pen-and-paper mode for admission to 90,825 MBBS, 27,948 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 603 BVSc, and AH seats, including 1,899 AIIMS and 249 JIPMER.
