NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the result of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) soon. While NEET UG 2023 was held for 20,87,449 candidates at 4,097 different centres located in 499 cities on May 7, as many as 8,753 candidates appeared for the undergraduate medical entrance test from 34 centres located in 11 cities on June 6. The NEET UG 2023 June 6 exam was held at the request of the Manipur government in the wake of the law-and-order situation prevalent on May 7.
The NTA NEET official website -- neet.nta.nic.in will host the NEET UG 2023 result. The NEET UG provisional answer keys for all the question paper codes have already been released.

Last year, the NEET UG answer key was issued on August 31 and NEET UG result was declared on September 7. NEET last year was conducted on July 17.
The NEET UG question paper comprised -- physics, chemistry and biology (botany and zoology). Each subject comprised two sections. While Section A had 35 questions and Section B had only 15. Out of the total 15 questions in Section B, candidates had to attempt any 10 questions.
For every correct answer or the most appropriate answer, candidates will get four marks (+4)
Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
Unanswered: No mark (0).
If more than one option is found to be correct then four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
If all options are found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
If none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be wrong or a question is dropped then all candidates who have appeared will be given four marks (+4) irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.
If candidates attempted more than 10 questions, only the first 10 attempted questions will be considered for evaluation.
For every correct answer, candidates will get four marks (+4)
Marking incorrect answer will lead to a reduction of one mark (-1)
No marks will be awarded for unanswered questions
