NEET UG 2024 correction window closes today; how to make changes

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the application correction window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024, today March 20. Candidates who have registered for the medical entrance test can make changes in their NEET UG 2024 application form through the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.

According to the notification issued by the NTA, the NEET UG application correction window will close at 11:50 pm. The final corrections will be effective only after payment of additional fees, if any.

Regarding application correction fee, the NTA said, "It is important to note that final corrections will be effective only after payment of any additional fees, if any. If a candidate's gender, category, or PwD status changes, they will be charged an additional fee. Please be aware that any excess payments will not be refunded."

This is a one-time facility provided to the candidates to edit their NEET UG application forms 2024. NTA will not entertain any further requests for application correction under any circumstances.

NEET UG Application 2024: Editable fields

Candidates will be able to make changes in the following fields-

• All details filled in the NEET UG 2024 application form except contact mobile number and email address
• Uploaded documents
• Aadhaar re-authentication

NEET UG 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 5 from 2 pm to 5:20 pm across the country. According to the NEET UG pattern 2024, the exam will be conducted in a offline for 3 hours and 20 minutes duration. Each subject will divided into two sections, Section A and Section B, carrying 35 and 15 questions respectively.

Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for every correct answer while 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
