NEW DELHI: NEET UG 2024 exam date has been announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Class 12 students who wish to pursue MBBS, BDS and other undergraduate (UG) medical courses will have to appear in the NEET UG 2024 entrance examination to get admission. As per the NTA exam calendar, NEET UG 2024 exam will be held on May 5.
The NEET application form, information bulletin, eligibility criteria and complete schedule will be hosted on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in 2024. NEET exam is the single largest entrance exam. More than 20 lakh candidates appeared in the medical entrance exam this year.
The National Medical Commission (NMC) recommends the NEET UG syllabus for MBBS, BDS and other medical courses after reviewing various boards state as well as CBSE, NCERT syllabi.

Class 12 students who aspire to study MBBS should know the NEET UG 2024 syllabus and exam pattern well to crack the exam. NEET UG question paper will comprise four subjects; each consisting of two sections. Section A will consist of 35 questions and Section B will have 15 questions, out of these 15 questions, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 questions.
“To rationalize the decision of reduction in the syllabus by various school education boards, the NTA has taken a decision to provide choice in Section “B” for each of the four subjects,” as per the information brochure.
