NEET UG 2025 Round 3: MCC asks NRI, OCI candidates to submit documents by September 29

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has asked candidates eligible for NEET UG counselling 2025 under the NRI and OCI quota to submit their documents by 4 pm on September 29. Meanwhile, the reporting deadline for round 2 has been extended till 8 pm today.

Candidates who were not declared eligible for NRI quota in earlier rounds should send their documents afresh for round 3 counselling. Only those found eligible under the quota will be allowed to exercise NRI choices. However, candidates who were already converted to NRI quota in earlier rounds are not required to re-submit their documents.

It is mandatory for such candidates to share their documents through e-mail ug.nri.mcc@gmail.com between 11 am on September 27 and 4 pm on September 29.

“Mails received before/ after the stipulated time will not be considered. Candidates are advised to send all documents enclosed in single mail only, within stipulated time,” the circular read.

NEET UG 2025: List of documents for NRI quota

Candidates are required to submit the following documents to claim the non-resident Indian (NRI) quota for MBBS and BDS admissions. As per the schedule, the NEET UG round 3 registration will begin from September 29.

• NEET UG admit card and score card issued by the NTA.
• Proof of NRI status of the parent/ relative: valid passport, visa/ residence permit/ work permit, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card/ PIO card, if applicable, NRI certificate issued by the Embassy or Indian Consulate.
• Certificate of Relationship between the NRI relative and the candidate issued by the
• competent revenue authority through the family tree.
• Affidavit (Notarized) by the NRI relative stating that they will sponsor the entire course
• fee and living expenses of the candidate during the period of study duly supported by
• NRE (Non-Resident External) bank account passbook.
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificate
• Birth certificate
• Passport of candidate/ Sponsor (optional).
