The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline to submit the bank account details for the refund of National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 to June 22. Candidates who appeared for the cancelled NEET UG 2026, can submit their bank details by visiting the official website at neet.nta.nic.in.

The login details to access the fee refund window for NEET UG 2026 includes application number and password.

So far, around 13 lakh MBBS aspirants have updated their bank account details. The reason behind the extension of the NEET UG 2026 fee refund window deadline was to allow the remaining candidates to submit their bank details, NTA said.

“Candidates may log in to the NEET (UG)-2026 registration portal using their credentials and access the refund link to submit their bank account details. Candidates may also upload a cancelled cheque, if desired, to ensure accuracy of the bank account information,” NTA said.

The NEET UG 2026 fee refund requirement details include IFSC code, account number, bank name, and scanned copy of cancelled cheque (optional).

The NTA will conduct the re-exam for NEET UG 2026 on June 21 for admission to MBBS, BDS and AYUSH programmes at government, and private medical colleges across India. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has, to date, arrested 13 accused in connection with the NEET UG 2026 paper leak case. PV Kulkarni, the alleged kingpin of the NEET UG 2026 paper leak scam, was arrested by the CBI days after the MBBS entrance exam was successfully conducted.

According to the investigation, Kulkarni's modus operandi involved orally dictating NEET questions to students enrolled in his coaching classes. Furthermore, he was reportedly a member of the NTA committee responsible for handling national-level examination question paper
